As soon as you put the first bite of Camarones al Ajillo Estilo Panameño in your mouth, you will become transported to the beaches of Panama. This garlic shrimp tastes heavenly and comprises of, sadly, only 2-3 servings. But we promise that you are going to want to cook this amazing dish again and again once your taste buds have become acquainted with its taste!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb Shrimp
- 4 teaspoon of Olive Oil
- 4 teaspoon of butter
- 8 garlic cloves
- A sprig of a parsley
- A spoonful of flour
- A spoonful of lemon
- 3 tablespoons white wine
- Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
In a pan, sauté the finely chopped garlic and stir in the olive oil over medium heat for a minute. Then add the 3 tablespoons of butter. Once it melts completely, add the shrimp.
When the shrimp is cooked on both sides, add the parsley and stir. Next, add a tablespoon of lemon and white wine, the flour, salt and pepper to taste, and stir well. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. During that time, stir occasionally.
After 10 minutes, it is ready to enjoy. You can accompany it with plantain baskets, potatoes, rice, salads, Panamanian patacones, or cassava.
